I celebrated my 30th birthday last week and it was my first official birthday as a mommy! Matt surprised me by taking the afternoon off and we went to lunch and saw the movie, The Town. It was beautiful weather and Matt arranged to borrow a friend's car which happened to be a 1973 MG convertible. We had a great time driving around Overland Park in our yellow drop-top for the day. In the evening we celebrated with my mom and sister who were in town for the week and my mom made a fabulous gluten/dairy-free cake which was much enjoyed.Turning thirty had to come around sometime but it still feels so old. It's all downhill from here!
