We baptized Olivia Jean on 5/23/10 at our church here in Kansas City, Jacob's Well. It was a special day and we were fortunate enough to have some family here as well as friends from our church community who shared the day with us. Olivia was excellent during the entire time leading up to the baptism, especially considering she was missing her morning nap! She finally fell asleep on Daddy just before we were about to go up to the altar and woke up only seconds before the ice cold water hit her face. This, of course, made her cry but she recovered very quickly and was back to cooing and smiling within minutes. We had a brunch with friends and family at our home afterwards to celebrate.
Unfortunately, our photos did not turn out as well as we had hoped but the video of the entire baptism is below.
