Today we celebrated my first Mother's Day and it was a lovely day with Matt & Olivia. We started out the day going to church which is always fun and unpredictable these days :) I spent most of church in the Mommy room with Olivia who enjoyed seeing all the other babies who are much older than her and half her size. She was not self-conscious at all!
We came home and Matt made a wonderful brunch of sausage gravy, biscuits and fruit - YUM! The rest of the afternoon was spent hanging out and resting. After Olivia went to sleep, Matt made me my favorite meal - Sweet Potato & Goat Cheese Ravioli. Sooo yummy :) He also surprised me with a garnet ring which is Olivia's birthstone. It was a truly special first Mother's Day!
Matt gets an A+! And, I NEED that recipe!!
